neteng was a chant by the village shaman to invoke the spirits or the 'keniu' to appear at a ritual - Dato Balang Ngelibun teteng dawar ngen keniu lem kereb ulun maya ngaie ngilad - Dr. Poline Bala
Some examples when the shaman would 'neteng':
